Director of Instruction – Ryan Labb

Ryan is originally from Connecticut. He is in his fourth season as Director of Instruction here. Ryan has a BA in psychology and has followed a couple of different career paths before deciding to pursue his passion for golf. In 2010 he graduated from the Golf Academy of America having specialized in advanced teaching methods. Ryan came to us from Forest Highlands in Flagstaff. There he taught under Andrew Getson, Phil Mickelson’s current swing coach.
Ryan’s passion for golf came late in life at the age of 28. He takes a unique approach to teaching because he did not learn the swing until he was already an adult. Ryan’s philosophy is to individualize his approach to each and every student, because there is a different model swing inside of each of us. Differences in age, body type, flexibility, eye-hand coordination, physical limitations, and goals are all taken into account. He enjoys working with men and women of all ages and ability levels.
