Meet The Staff

Director of Golf
Randy Ballard

Randy Ballard was born and raised in Arlington, WA.  It was in high school when Randy found his love for the game of golf and decided that it was the career he wanted to pursue.  In 2003, Randy entered the Professional Golf Management program (PGM) at New Mexico State University (NMSU).  Through the PGM program at NMSU Randy interned at three different courses including: Kayak Point, Mystic Dunes and Pronghorn Golf Club.
In late 2007 Randy graduated from NMSU with a BBA in Marketing and a specialization in PGA Golf Management.  In January of 2008 he was elected into the PGA achieving his Class “A” Professional status.  It was at that time when he took an Assistant Professional position at Pronghorn Golf Club in Bend, OR.  Pronghorn has both a Nicklaus Signature and Fazio designed course on property and is consistently ranked on Golf Digests Top 100 lists.  It was at Pronghorn Randy learned first-hand the business of golf and shaped him to where he is today.
In 2011, Randy accepted an offer as Assistant Professional at Old Greenwood in Truckee, CA which would lead into his obtaining the Head Professional position.  Old Greenwood is a Nicklaus Signature design in the Lake Tahoe region of California and Nevada; though only open six months per year, it is a very fast paced and heavily visited golf course.
When not at work, Randy enjoys skiing, fishing, snowmobiling, hiking and of course golf.  Being from the Seattle area he still roots for his local sports teams the Mariners and Seahawks, and is always is hoping to catch a game.

Cale and his family moved to Wickenburg in 2013. He had recently retired from the Montana Highway Patrol as a State Trooper and was looking for a career with a completely different atmosphere. Cale decided to follow his passion for golf and the great outdoors — turfgrass management seemed to be the perfect fit. Cale completed his college internship at Wickenburg Ranch and graduated with honors from Pennsylvania State University in August of 2015 with a degree in Turfgrass Management. Cale has worked as the Assistant Superintendent for Troon Golf at Copper Canyon Golf Course in Buckeye. He joined the Los Caballeros Golf Course team as Superintendent in March of 2016.
